Changing headlights in your car is very simple. There are lots of women who don’t know how to do this, so I am going to tell you how it’s done. So you won’t have to take your car into a garage and spend anymore money. I have many friends, (guys too) who have no idea how to change their own headlights, and are always taking their vehicles in for simple little problems such as this. So if you’re having problems like changing your headlights then maybe this article can help.

First, you have to make sure you buy the right light bulbs for your car. You don’t want to end up buying bulbs that don’t fit! So check out your owner’s manual, or do some research on what bulbs fit your car. If your car headlight has a pair of bulbs, change them both. Even if the other one is working. If one breaks then the other one will break not too long after, and you won’t end up having to do this all over again.

Make sure your power light is off before changing them. The covers come off the bulb so you can change it. Just pop it off or unscrew it. Now you can remove the old light bulb and replace the new one. Make sure there is no dirt and debris in the socket before your replace the new one. Now put the cover back on and test the lights to see if they work, and if you have installed them properly.

So there it is!! See how simple it is to change your own headlights. No more spending money on things that don’t really need it. Just make sure to be safe! If you have been using your car for a while, then wait for a few minuets for the bulbs to cool down. Don’t try and force the bulbs in, make sure they fit properly.
